How to Detect If your Pet has Cataracts – BondiVet

In this video TV vets from BondiVet, show you some of the ways you can detect cataracts in your pet and what can be done about it.

If you start noticing that your pets pupils are becoming cloudy and opaque white then this might mean your pet has cataracts. Cataracts make it harder for pets to see and if left untreated can lead to blindness. Cataracts can develop from other diseases in your pet such as diabetes. If you think your pet has cataracts then the first solution would be to take your pet to the vet and after that contact a veterinary ophthalmologist to get surgery done as this is only way to fix it however this process can be quite expensive.
