How to Treat your Dog from Vestibular Disease – BondiVet

In this video TV vets from BondiVet, tell you how you can treat your dog from vestibular disease.

Although vestibular disease looks bad it is important to note that vestibular disease isn’t always as bad as it seems. Vestibular disease is most common in older dogs and is when the dog loses balance suddenly making them unable to stand steadily on all four feet. The disease is usually caused by an inner ear infection and is quite straightforward to address if you act quickly. In worst cases, it could be caused by trauma, a stroke, or a tumor. If your dog looks dizzy, starts moving their eyes rapidly from side to side, or feels nauseous it’s time to see the vet.
